TANDEM.MINT: Registration until 15 March for language exchange

15.03.2019

In the language tandem programme "TANDEM.MINT", students of engineering and natural sciences can not only improve their foreign language skills with a native speaker (or with students with advanced language skills), but also develop their intercultural skills. The registration deadline for the summer semester is 15 March 2019.

The principle of language tandem is that students with different native languages (or a similarly high level, at least C1) support each other in learning the other language. In contrast to the language course, it is in their hands what knowledge they improve, what priorities they pursue and what resources they would like to contribute. Since the tandem partner is also a technical student, subject-specific topics can be discussed or written in the foreign language.

The tandem participants get to know each other in a natural way and thus get into an authentic exchange with international or local students. Whether as preparation for a stay abroad or for entering the (international) world of work, it is worthwhile to acquire language skills together.

The closing date for registration for the language tandem programme in the coming summer semester is 15 March 2019.

TANDEM.MINT is a cooperation offer of the projects inSTUDIESplus and ELLI2 with the University Language Centre.
