Review: Master's Open Day 2019

27.05.2019

Last Friday, 24th May, students informed themselves extensively about the Master's programmes in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Resource Management and Computational Engineering during a Master's information event. Graduates, chair and student representatives were also present to answer questions about the Master's programme.

For the first time, the Student Advice Centre / Student Counselling Centre and the RUB Alumni Service organized the RUB event "MasterPlan". Essential components of the "MasterPlan" event were a master's fair in the Audimax and a master's information event, during which students received further information on the master's degree programmes of the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering in the afternoon. The faculty's programme included an information presentation by the Student Counselling, which can be recognised as an obligatory Master's consultation, as well as a contact exchange with alumni and chair representatives from the Master's specialisations. There, interested students took the opportunity to directly ask former students questions about the contents of their studies and career prospects. In addition, some student representatives of the three Master's programmes provided an authentic insight into their Master's programme.
