At the IEEE ICEAA conference in Palermo, Dean's Office Manager Dr.-Ing. Christoph Baer and his colleague Carolin Robbe from Claas E-Systems GmbH were awarded the Best Industry Paper Award as co-authors.

The article “Addressing the Challenges of Radar-based Environmental Sensing for Autonomous Ground Vehicles in Off-Road Terrain” highlighted the additional challenges faced by autonomous agricultural machines during harvesting compared to autonomous cars on the road.
