The Deutsche Akademische Austauschdienst (DAAD) offers the scholarship program "Hilde Domin Programme" for acutely endangered students as well as doctoral researchers from various subjects. The current nomination round runs until Sept. 15, 2021.

The program is aimed at acutely endangered students as well as doctoral students who are denied the right to education in their country of origin due to their ethnic, sexual, gender or religious identity or their political or civic involvement. The aim of the program is to ensure that the nominated and selected students or doctoral candidates can study or do a doctorate in a secure environment at a German university. However, candidates cannot apply themselves. Instead, they should be nominated by members of the Ruhr-University Bochum at the International Office for formal consideration.

The application deadline is September 15, 2021 for the winter semester 2022/23. Please send the required documents to the RUB International Office: welcome [at] rub.de
