Mentoring³ Program for Female Postdocs

19.05.2023

Mentoring³-Programm für Postdoktorandinnen

In fall 2023, the Research Academy Ruhr (RAR) will start the next round with its two-year mentoring³ program. As young female scientists, postdocs can exchange ideas with experienced scientists* about their professional development and gain informal knowledge about structures and rules in the scientific community. Applications are possible from 08.05.2023 - 09.06.2023.

mentoring³ consists of three modules: mentorship, workshops and network meetings:

  • Mentorship
In a personal exchange with an experienced professor or scientist, participants gain an insight into important knowledge and experience for orientation in science.
  • Workshops
In interdisciplinary workshops, participants prepare themselves for leadership tasks in university and non-university research, discuss beneficial career strategies and strengthen their personal key competencies.
  • Network meeting
The subject-specific mentoring group offers the opportunity to build a network of young female scientists across universities as well as to exchange ideas with peers.

The program runs for two years (01.10.2023 - 30.09.2025) and will be coordinated for the engineering subject focus at the Technical University of Dortmund.

Further information on the mentoring³ program and registration can be found at www.research-academy-ruhr.de/programm/mentoring3.html.en.
