Girls'Day Recap

09.04.2025

Girls´Day 5 2025

As part of Girls'Day on April 3rd, students from various schools and grade levels gained exciting insights into the diverse fields of our faculty.

At the Chair of Building Materials, they had the opportunity to mix concrete themselves and create their own Audimax-themed pen holders. The journey continued at the Chair of Hydrology and Water Resources Management, where they experimented in the sandbox and explored hydrological processes through a dike simulation.

Bridge construction was also on the agenda: At the Chair of Statics and Dynamics, the students simulated bridge structures both analog and digital – experiencing firsthand the engineering expertise required for such projects.

The day was rounded off with a shared lunch break at the cafeteria and a short visit to the Botanical Garden and Bib of the University.
