Sustainability certificate

Since the summer semester 2023, all students at the Ruhr-Universität can acquire a sustainability certificate. The certificate comprises three modules of 5 ECTS each, i.e. a total of 15 ECTS.

What requirements must be met?

  • Participation in the lecture series "Climate Change and Sustainability" (see eCampus) | 5 ECTS
  • Project work with reference to sustainability | 5 ECTS
  • Modules of our Faculty | 5 ECTS

The following modules of our faculty are recognised:

  • Sustainable Building
  • Sustainable water management
  • Sustainable operation and resource protection in urban water management systems
  • Innovations in urban water management and mathematical simulation
