Start of studies: Get green vignette conveniently at the faculty

If you are vaccinated against or recovered from Covid, you can receive a green sticker for your student identity card to facilitate check-in to on-site courses and activities. The stickers are fraud-proofed in that they cannot be removed without being destroyed.

Since Wednesday, September 29th, a central distribution point for these stickers has been established at Nordforum on campus.Read more here...

You can also receive a sticker in building IC, if you are enrolled in one of the following programs in the winter term of 2021/22: Bachelor or Master program in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Resource Management or Computational Engineering, or if you are a graduate student/doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering.

To avoid long wait times and large groups of people, distribution will be split as follows:

First year students in Civil or Environmental Engineering:

Master students Computational Engineering and graduate students

Please have the following 3 documents ready:

  1.     Proof of full vaccination (usually two doses) with a vaccine approved in Germany:
  •     Comirnaty® by BioNTech/Pfizer
  •     Spikevax® (Vaccine Moderna) by Moderna
  •     Vaxzevria® by AstraZeneca
  •     Janssen® by Johnson & Johnson (just one dose necessary)

If you are vaccinated with any other vaccine, please refer to the International Office for guidance.

You can provide a legal vaccination record or a verifiable digital certificate of vaccination. The second dose (for Janssen: only one dose) must have been reveiced at least two weeks ago to receive a sticker. For the beginning of the first week of classes, vaccinations must have been complete by Sep 27, 2021.

Alternatively, you can provide proof of recovery. Please note that the certificate of recovery has to be valid until at least end of March 2022 in order to receive a sticker.

2) Proof of identity (e.g. identity card, international travel pass) to verifiy your identity

3) Certificate of Enrolment for the winter term 2021/22 for one of the programs mentiones above. This is necessary as the amount of stickers we have tallies with the number of our faculty’s students.

This is a voluntary offer to facilitate your return to campus. We are using the app CovPass Check to verify certificates. Apart from that, your personal data will not be used or stored.
