From tips on the application process to experience reports from company founders and exciting lectures by engineers on starting a career - the CrossING event on 24/25 September 2025 offers students from the three engineering faculties comprehensive preparation for the start of their careers. The registration phase is open.
CrossING provides engineering students with an attractive annual platform where they can prepare for their own career path and network directly with companies.
The event focuses in particular on topics such as balancing family and career, meaningful jobs and life planning, promotion and/or career entry in industry, the energy transition and emission-free future as well as environmental, safety and energy technology.
This year's participating companies include Bosch, Elmos, Kostal, Schneider Electric, Sennheiser, Redpath Deilmann, CERN, TÜV, Deutsche Bahn, Stadtwerke Bochum, Thyssenkrupp und das Fraunhofer-Institut Umsicht. The Worldfactory Start-Up Center provides information on the topic of self-employment and there are also direct founders such as GEMESYS from our own ranks.
Of course, personal etiquette tips, the application portfolio check and the opportunity to have an application photo taken on site will not be missing this year either. Participants can ask their questions directly to future employers during speed dating.
