On June 11, 2026, Ruhr University Bochum will open its doors to prospective students. As part of the “ING Mile,” the three engineering faculties will offer a variety of hands-on activities and opportunities to talk with current students, providing an exciting glimpse into engineering studies.
“ING Mile”
As part of the “ING Mile”, visitors can look forward to a diverse program organized by the Schools of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering. The three engineering faculties will showcase the future-oriented fields and technical challenges they are addressing. In addition, students will be on hand to provide information about their degree programs and offer an authentic glimpse into their daily student life.
When? 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where? Buildings IC and ID, Level 04
The “ING Mile” is organized by “AllesING!”, the association of the Faculties of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering.
Informational Presentation: “These Are Our Engineering Programs”
During an informational presentation, interested visitors can learn about the degree programs offered by the three ING faculties. Here, guests will discover why studying engineering at RUB is worthwhile, what prerequisites must be met, and what attractive career prospects await future graduates.
