On June 15, 2026, Dean Prof. Daniel Balzani was awarded the Eugenio Beltrami Senior Scientist Prize

The Center of Mathematics and Mechanics of Complex Systems in L’Aquila, Italy, annually awards the Eugenio Beltrami Senior Scientist Prize to scientists who have distinguished themselves through outstanding contributions in the fields of mathematics, mechanics, and complex systems.

The award recognizes Prof. Daniel Balzani’s international research achievements, particularly his work in continuum mechanics and his contributions to the mathematical modeling of complex materials. We join him in celebrating this prestigious award!
