Girls' Day is a program offered by RUB for female students* in 8th to 10th grade, which introduces them to subjects that are still considered "male-dominated". Girls' Day is intended to give female students* an insight into studies that are still underrepresented for women* and to encourage them not to be guided by classic gender roles in their choice of studies.

Four chairs of our faculty offer the following exciting workshops:

• Beton ist bunt – über die Vielfältigkeit eines ganz besonderen Baustoffs (Lehrstuhl für Baustofftechnik)
• Baustatik – Wie werden Bauwerke berechnet? (Lehrstuhl für Statik und Dynamik)
• Steifigkeit und Festigkeit – Taugen Cola-Dosen als Konstruktionsmaterial? (Lehrstuhl für Mechanik - Kontinuumsmechanik)
• Ohne Wasser läuft nichts – Ingenieurhydrologie an der RUB (Lehrstuhl für Ingenieurhydrologie und Wasserwirtschaft)
