reCYCL:ING - JOINING FOR MORE GREEN AT THE CAMPUS

Not exactly eye-catchers are the abandoned concrete buckets that sporadically flank the footpaths of the I-buildings and were originally intended as rubbish bins. But something is happening to the buckets, because they are being redesigned into new favourite places as part of the reCYCL:ING project, an initiative of the PR team and the Dean's Office of the B+U Faculty in cooperation with the RUB Sustainability Office and the Botanical Garden.

A total of 20 buckets are available, which can be "adopted" and individually embellished by members of the three Engineering Faculties (Chairs, Student Councils or mixed groups) as part of a bucket sponsorship. Interested parties can contact the PR team of the Faculty B+U at pr-bi@rub.de and receive further information. The tools needed for the gardening work can also be borrowed there. The Faculty B+U supports the upgrading of the concrete buckets by its members with a financial donation.
